Apparently I’m missing the creative gene

I finally figured out what I am going to be for Halloween.

I wanted to top last year’s costume: Juno – with an awesome Bleeker.

Juno and Paulie

This year’s the family’s 25th annual Halloween party – we’ve been having these things as long as I’ve been alive. So this year, in honor of the silver anniversary, we’ve gotta have a silver-themed costume. I couldn’t think of a regular costume, much less a silver one. There was talk of me being a leftover, a Coors Light bottle, grammar police..but tonight, my friend Shannon came up with a pretty cute idea – silver lining.

Which means I have to figure out how to not only be a cloud, but attach a silver lining. Yeah. My creativeness is limited. When I called Mom for advice on how to put the costume together, she had a few tips. But mostly, she was disappointed I couldn’t figure it out on my own.

Her words – and I quote: “You are not creative at all. What did I do wrong?”

I've got a few stories to tell.
